AB Automazioni is a Ticino-based company specialising in automated access systems, including automatic gates, industrial doors, barriers and access control solutions. It operates in a technical and competitive sector where reputation is built over time, and a strong digital presence can determine whether a business is found or remains invisible.
When AB Automazioni approached M cube, the objective was clear: to create a professional and consistent online presence that communicated expertise at first glance. The project covered every area of digital communication — from the website and social media to visual content production and graphic design — through an integrated, results-focused approach. It was not simply a matter of “building a website” or “opening an Instagram account”: AB Automazioni needed a strategy capable of establishing a strong and lasting position in the Ticino market.

Building from an almost non-existent digital presence. The previous website had little visibility on Google, while the company had no active social media presence. Establishing online credibility from the ground up, in a sector where clients look for reassurance and proven experience, required a structured approach across several channels at the same time. Every decision — from the wording of a webpage to the format of a social post — was made to build trust before generating enquiries.
Making technical information accessible. Automated access systems are a highly specialised field. The products are complex, installations require technical expertise, and clients range from homeowners looking to automate a residential gate to companies managing industrial access points. Turning this information into clear, useful and accessible content for different audiences was one of the most demanding aspects of the project.
Managing multiple channels through one consistent identity. The website, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn all have different audiences and communication requirements. The challenge was to maintain a consistent tone, visual identity and message across every channel while adapting the content to each context. An Instagram post does not work in the same way as a website article, while LinkedIn addresses a very different audience from a Facebook Story. Each platform required a tailored approach, but all of them needed to communicate the same brand story.
Producing visual content in operational environments. Photographing and filming real installations, often on construction sites or in industrial settings, required organisation, flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly. Producing professional-quality material in uncontrolled environments is what separates content that communicates effectively from content that is easily overlooked.
The project transformed AB Automazioni’s digital presence across every channel, creating an integrated and consistent communications system from the ground up.
The website is now optimised for search engines, structured to guide visitors towards making contact and designed to represent the company’s professionalism effectively. Its four core areas of expertise — design, installation, maintenance and repair — are presented clearly, with content developed around the questions and needs of real clients.
AB Automazioni is now active on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn with consistent and professional communications. Instagram showcases the quality of its installations through photography and video from real projects. Facebook reaches private customers and small businesses with informative content and service updates. LinkedIn positions AB Automazioni as a reliable B2B partner, with content aimed at commercial clients, industrial customers and professional partners.
The photography and video content produced presents the company’s work in a way that immediately conveys quality and reliability. The visual assets developed ensure consistency across all online and offline communications materials.
An integrated project that demonstrates how digital communication, when managed with a clear method and strategy, can become a practical driver of growth for technical and industrial companies in Ticino.
